The Planet Kamino

The planet Kamino is just outside the Star Wars galaxy, south of another galaxy called the Rishi Maze. The planet has 3 moons, one being called Korasa. The planet is now a vast ocean, it continents long lost.

The only known sentient life on kamino is the Kaminoans. The kaminoans are tall grey creatures that live on cities built above the water. The kaminoans are known for the cloning technology. In 32 BBY Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas ensured the kaminoans created clones for the Galactic Republic to use as an army. This order was never authorized by the Galactic Senate.

   After foiling the assassination of Padme Amidala, Master Obi-Wan Kenobi was directed to Kamino after finding a saberdart on the assassin. There Kenobi discovered the clone army and their prime clone, Jango Fett. Fett was the one who had hired Padme’s assassin, Kenobi and Fett had a short quarrel on a landing platform, in the end, fett was victorious.

The days that followed the Clone Wars ensued, plunging the galaxy into chaos.

The Invasion of Naboo

Greetings Historians, 

Today we will cover the Invasion of Naboo and concurrent events after it. The invasion of Naboo was in 32 BBY. BBY stands for Before Battle of Yavin.

The Invasion of Naboo started after Jedi Knight Qui-Gon-Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan-Kenobi arrived on a Trade Federation ship. The two Jedi were to have negotiations with the leaders of the Trade Federation so they would stop their blockade around the planet Naboo. These negotiations never took place and the Jedi were attacked. Luckily the Jedi escaped down to the planet. With the help of Jar-Jar Binks, the Jedi made it to the capital city of Theed to assist the queen of Naboo. They escaped with one of the helpers of the queen, going to the planet Tatooine.

On Tatooine Qui-Gon-Jinn discovered an enslaved boy named Anakin Skywalker. Skywalker had a higher Midi-chlorian count than any other living Jedi,  rivaling Grand Master Yoda. Qui-Gon-Jinn decided that he was to bring the boy back to the Jedi temple, but to do this he would have to free him from slavery.

In order to free Anakin from slavery he had to compete in the Boonta Eve Classic, a podrace near Mos Espa. The prize for the race was Tatoonie credits. The race was tough, with many deaths and one racer going MIA. Against all odds Anakin won the race, also winning his freedom. The money from the race was used to buy a new hyperdrive generator for Qui-Gon-Jinn’s ship as it was damaged during the escape from Naboo.

Whilst heading back to the ship Jinn and Anakin are pursued by a Dark figure. Jinn sensed the dark side in this figure, igniting his green lightsaber. The figure then attacks Jinn with his own red lightsaber. The two clash sabers until Jinn escapes by jumping onto his nearby ship which swoops by. Jinn tells the pilots to go back to Coruscant.

On Coruscant Anakin is presented before the Jedi Council. After a short series of tests, the Council tells Jinn that Anakin was too old, emotional and that he was dangerously full of anger and fear. Seeing this as a minor set back, Jinn and everyone else went back to Naboo to deal with the crisis.

On Naboo, Jinn and Kenobi confronted the sith who attacked them on Tatooine, Darth Maul. Jinn and Maul are the main fighters while Kenobi is knocked off of platforms and trapped behind walls. Then in one swift motion, Maul strikes down Jinn. Kenobi is filled with rage as the laser wall he is trapped behind is opened, he leaps at Maul, releasing a fury of lightsaber strikes at him. The two fight back and forth until Maul pushes Kenobi down a garbage shaft, but Kenobi hangs onto the side. Maul taunts him slicing his lightsaber into the ground above Kenobi. Suddenly, Kenobi leaps above Maul, landing behind him and slicing him in half down into the garbage shaft.

During Jinns funeral Kenobi promises Anakin that he’ll train him. Anakin is then accepted into the Jedi Order as Kenobi’s padawan.

The Planet Hoth

Greetings Adventurers, 

Today’s topic will be the Outer Rim planet Hoth. Hoth is a desolate icy world with no human life. Two of the most well known species are the Tauntauns and Wampas. Tauntauns were two legged lizards native to Hoth. Wampas are furrocious furry bipeds that live in the wastelands of Hoth.

After the destruction of the first Death Star and the Battle of Yavin, the rebels needed to find a new base and thought Hoth would be the perfect spot. Here the established Echo Base and tamed the local Tauntauns, using them as a way to scout the area for imperials.

During one such scouting mission, Commander Luke Skywalker was attacked by a Wampa, being captured and almost eaten. Luckily, he escaped with the help of the force and his trusty lightsaber, escaping into the frozen wastelands that laid ahead.

On the same day, Han Solo and his Wookie friend Chewbacca destroyed an Imperial Probe droid that was taking video of the Rebel base. When he got back to base he noticed Luke wasn’t there, so he asked if he had checked in only to be told he hadn’t. Han went out into the cold abyss that was Hoth during the night to find Luke. Han found Luke, but he was injured from his encounter with the Wampa. So they could both survive, Han killed his Tauntaun and stored Luke in there till the morning when they were found by a Rescue Squad.

Rebel scanners had detected Imperial ships in the space above Hoth. It turns out that the probe droid Han had destroyed sent all the videos it took the Empire. Thus the Empire sent AT-AT’s down to the surface of Hoth. The battle of Hoth was a decisive victory for the Empire as they destroyed the Rebel base and scattered Rebel forces.
